I grew up in Philadelphia and attended Germantown Friends School for high school. This amazing school taught me about honesty, independent thought, respect for my fellowman and kindness. I went on to the University of Pennsylvania for college and was enlisted in both the University Scholars and Benjamin Franklin Scholars Program for academic excellence. At Temple University Medical School, I received a very solid medical education that formed the foundation for all my subsequent medical training and research. I completed my obstetrics and gynecology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and stayed on for an additional year to pursue an interest in molecular biology. I completed a year of basic science laboratory work on the molecular events that allow for human embryo implantation resulting in a publication of a couple of pre-reviewed articles. I returned to the University of Pennsylvania for my reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship. This training program is consistently ranked as one of the best in the United States. During my fellowship, I had an exceptional exposure to both patients and research within this interesting field. I entered private practice in 1994 and since this time, I have learned a great deal about many different things. However, at this time with over a decade of experience and a busy clinical practice, thousands of advanced infertility surgeries and 100s of IVF cases at top IVF centers, I am confident that I can provide very safe and highly effective management to my fertility seeking couples as well as my patients with chronic pelvic pain. I truly feel blessed that I have been given this opportunity to help people.
